We Make It Easy!

From your initial consultation, to design, construction, and project management, Star-Lite Pool Builders  is committed to making your pool building experience easy. Most pools take between 8-10 weeks to build (weather permitting). Your Construction Manager is also the owner and will be managing all aspects of construction.

Here’s What You Can Expect

While every custom built pool is different, the design and building process generally remains the same. Here’s what you can expect after you contact Star-Lite Pool Builders.

One of our expert designers will visit you at your home.

We’ll gather information about what you want to accomplish. What do you want the space to look like? How will the pool be used? Then we’ll measure the yard (a survey of your property will be needed for permitting), consider the location for sunlight and usability, and make sure that you understand all of the available options. In this initial consultation, we listen carefully so that we can seamlessly incorporate your dreams and your vision into an elegant and functional backyard oasis.

We will create your custom design and options!
Using your survey, house footprint and an advanced 3D modeling design software, you’ll actually be able to see what your new pool will look like in amazing detail. You’ll also be able to discuss and decide on further options, details, and features.

The Planning Phase

Once you decide to move forward, we can immediately begin the permitting process on your behalf!
During the permitting process our Construction team will perform a plan review as we make every effort to minimize delays and leverage our 40 years of experience in the planning process.  We consider items such water control, access plans, elevations and soil conditions.

The Construction Process

As expected, the process begins with the excavation.  Elevations are set and the layout begins.  The installation of Rebar to the engineering specification is where you will begin to see your vision take shape!  Upon completion of the rebar installation, we will bond the rebar, install all required pre-plumbing and in shell electric for your first round of inspections.

Next your pool will be sprayed with shotcrete (a wet mix concrete that is blown in to form the shell).  It is important to know that all forms of concrete require a curing period so you will notice the construction traffic in your yard slow a bit once we strip the forms, back fill and due the plumbing and underground electric.

The tile and coping work is the next milestone of your project and as the tile and coping are applied your pool starts to come to life.  We follow the tile and coping with a deck bond and the installation of your pool equipment.  We are a warranty center and proudly install Hayward and Jandy equipment.  The deck installation and the preparation of your pool for the final surface occurs.

We offer Florida Gem and Pebble Technology surfaces professionally mixed and pumped in versus a hand mix in a wheel barrel. The Florida Gem finish is a one day process and we will begin to fill your pool with water via filter tanks as the crew completes the surface.  Pebble Technology is a two day process as we return the second day to expose the surface via an acid and pressure wash.

It is time to enjoy your new backyard oasis!
